SCS is a small but
happy consulting firm that specializes in Project
Management and IT Support with special emphasis on
manufacturing / distribution systems and the IBM
System i.
What makes
SCS

it comes down to three things; breadth, depth, and
attitude.
Breadth is
defined by the wide range of environments in which
SCS has worked
ranging from automotive to food and beverage to drug and medical to
electronics to retail distribution, etc.
Depth refers to
the fact that we handle both
the operations side of things for manufacturing and distribution,
and the IT side (with all of the key ancillary systems like EDI, bar
code, etc.). This makes SCS a one
stop service capable of understanding both sides of the business
puzzle.
But
attitude is most important and it goes beyond the cliché of
'your success is our success'.
SCS believes three things to be
fundamental. First, no matter how complex the task
there is a simple way of doing it and a messy way, and simple is
always better. Second, that technology is something that
should help you grow, not just tie you to where you are. And third, nothing has really been
accomplished if you don't have doco that clearly explains how
the system works.
